Mr Wayne, is a staunch advocate for bees wherever his travels take him.

On Saturday mornings you will find him at the Enterprise Farmer’s Market meeting people young and old from around the world. What is he doing? He is promoting our Bee Club and talking about the important role of the honey bee in our world, explaining the health benefits of honey and the many ways honey has been used by man through the centuries. He also sells honey and is known at the Farmer’s Market as The Singing Honey Man.

He was a 72 year old new beekeeper who started his beekeeping journey in 2016 when he joined the Bee Club and never regretted that decision.

Since that time he has spent countless hours mentoring and encouraging new beekeepers, meeting with children in the local schools and teaching them about bees, speaking with service groups in the area about bees and meeting with ladies church circles and garden clubs to talk about bees. During COVID he worked to keep the Bee Club moving forward.

His priorities are: God first, family and friends next, then helping others and lastly promoting bees.
